Chicken Breasts

Our Free-Range TURKEYS are now back in stock just in time for Thanksgiving! There are a variety of weight ranges available from 16 to 25 lb birds.They are available frozen only.

They will thaw in a sink of cool water overnight — so for our Edmonton customers, receiving one October 10 is not an issue.

We have a limited offering this year due to supply issues, so the turkeys on the website are all we will have for this year. This means we might have a shortage for Christmas, so if you can think that far ahead, I would order two just to be sure… 🙂

Our inventory is continually being updated, so please check back often! We have added the following this week:

If you have already placed an order and want to add to it, you can either:

  • Place another order and we will combine them when we fill the orders for that week, or;
  • If what you would like to add is less than our minimum order ($50), please contact us and we will update your order and send you a confirmation email.

If there is something you would like that is "out of stock" on the website, please put a note in the comments section of your order (include the item name and number you would like). If we receive the item before we fill your order, we will happily add it for you. 🙂

Smokey the horse

We had our first frost night before last and Dylan captured this beautiful picture. Luckily it only got down to -2C, so some of my garden survived to see another day. Usually we have a killing frost by the third week of August — so my squash plants are really happy and growing fantastic — we will even get a Hallowe'en pumpkin for a change, which is rare for our short growing season. The frost left spider webs (above) looking like they we covered in jewels, very pretty to see. Our young horse Smoky would not leave me alone the other day — were out staking the area where we are building our abattoir for new pens and corrals. Our horses are also enjoying the warm fall weather. Let's all hope for a long Indian Summer so we can get our new facilities up and closed in before the cold weather sets in!
