Chicken Breasts

Enjoy one of our succulent Grass-fed Beef Cross Rib Roasts on a cool winter's evening.

Our 1.3 kg roasts are on sale for 15% off while supplies last…

Our inventory is continually being updated, so please check back often! We have added the following this week

If you have already placed an order and want to add to it, you can either:

  • Place another order and we will combine them when we fill the orders for that week, or;
  • If what you would like to add is less than our minimum order ($50), please contact us and we will update your order and send you a confirmation email.

If there is something you would like that is "out of stock" on the website, please put a note in the comments section of your order (include the item name and number you would like). If we receive the item before we fill your order, we will happily add it for you. 🙂

Another Remebrance Day passes and it's hard to forget our visit to the World War I memorials in France last fall. Above right is a picture of the Beaumont-Hamel Royal Newfoundland Regiment Memorial. During the Battle of the Somme in 1916 over 80% of this regiment were killed and the ferocity of the event left few bodies recoverable. A life sized bronze caribou stands guard over the battlefield that has been preserved in-situ to honour the fallen. The shell-holes and trenches are still clearly evident. A plaque commemorating the sacrifice of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment is inscribed with a poem (at right) written by John Oxenham, it is sobering at best.

My heart goes out to all of those affected by the very sad events in Paris yesterday. President Hollande considers these terrorist attacks an act of war, and understandably so.  But I hope for all of us that we can make peace instead.

Capturing the spirit of TK Ranch is my husband Dylan's favourite pastime. Dylan has thousands of followers on Instagram and his photos give our customers a glimpse of the way we steward our land and animals. Take a look and enjoy!

Tread softly here! Go reverently and slow!
Yea, let your soul go down upon its knees,
And with bowed head and heart abased strive hard
To grasp the future gain in this sore loss!
For not one foot of this dank sod but drank
Its surfeit of the blood of gallant men.
Who, for their faith, their hope,—for Life and Liberty,
Here made the sacrifice,—here gave their lives.
And gave right willingly—for you and me.

From this vast altar—pile the souls of men
Sped up to God in countless multitudes:
On this grim cratered ridge they gave their all.
And, giving, won
The peace of Heaven and Immortality.
Our hearts go out to them in boundless gratitude:
If ours—then God's: for His vast charity
All sees, all knows, all comprehends—save bounds.
He has repaid their sacrifice:—and we—?
God help us if we fail to pay our debt
In fullest full and unstintingly!

“The care of the Earth is our most ancient and most worthy, and after all our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it and to foster its renewal is our only hope.”
