Website Repaired!

When our server was updated 48 hours ago a serious malfunction occurred with our website and our customers could not complete their orders as a result.

Since that time we have been working very hard to repair this issue and earlier today we were successful! So if you were having troubles earlier in the week please try again.

We will be adding more inventory over the next few days as we complete the transition to our new facilities. Thanks for your patience!

TK Ranch Receives License From Meat Inspection Branch to Operate an Abattoir

TK Ranch's Dylan Biggs and Dexter DedoraMaking sure our animals are treated with respect at slaughter is one of the most important parts of our meat program. For the past three years we have been working very hard to build our own small abattoir right on TK Ranch so that we could control how our animals are treated and processed. After a great deal of hard work from our entire TK Ranch team we finally received our license from Alberta's Meat Inspection Branch to operate our own small slaughter facility. This was no small feat and many told us the odds were not in our favour to succeed, but we did. Last Friday we processed cattle for the very first time in our new facility, my husband Dylan is pictured above with Dexter Dedora who is a member of our team. Now our livestock never have to leave TK Ranch to be processed which is a significant animal welfare success story for all concerned. This is truly a happy ending for us and for all of the livestock we steward.
