GREAT COFFEE IS NO MISTAKE

Guided by uncompromising values, an obsessive pursuit of flavour, and a deep respect and dedication to craft, we strive to roast coffee worth waking up for.

We start by selecting Organically Grown, Specialty Coffee beans, that we enjoy, from around the world. Once in our hands, our goal is to highlight the unique qualities and natural sweetnessof each selection, to create an exceptional and well balanced cup, regardless of brewing method; filter or espresso.

By channeling our passion for coffee into building strong relationships with growers and importers who embrace sustainable practices, we enrich local farming communities while elevating the flavour and quality of your finished cup.

Our coffee is best enjoyed one week after, and within 6 months, of the roast date for an optimal experience.

The Benefit of Using Specialty Beans:

  1. Superior Quality: Specialty coffee beans are graded and scored based on rigorous quality standards, achieving a score of 80 or above on the Specialty Coffee Association scale. They are free from major defects, ensuring an unparalleled level of refinement in taste and aroma.

  2. Distinct Flavors: These beans are often grown in unique microclimates with specific soil, altitude, and farming practices, resulting in complex and diverse flavor profiles, such as floral, fruity, or nutty notes, that stand out from conventional coffee.

  3. Traceable Origins: Specialty coffee emphasizes transparency, providing detailed information about the farm, region, and processing methods. This traceability allows consumers to appreciate the story and efforts behind each cup, fostering a deeper connection to the product.

  4. Ethical and Sustainable Sourcing: Specialty coffee is typically grown by farmers who prioritize environmentally friendly practices. Many producers also benefit from fair trade initiatives, ensuring better wages and living conditions, which supports long-term sustainability in the coffee industry.

  5. Consistency and Excellence: Farmers and producers of specialty coffee meticulously monitor every stage of production, from planting to harvesting and processing, ensuring the highest consistency in bean quality and flavor potential.

  6. Enhanced Roasting Experience: The unique characteristics of specialty beans give roasters the opportunity to experiment with profiles and bring out the best nuances, allowing them to create a curated, artisanal product that resonates with consumers seeking premium coffee experiences.

These benefits not only elevate the quality of the final cup but also contribute to the ethical and sustainable practices that define specialty coffee.
