Our grass-fed Beef Tallow is a very popular and healthy alternative to other cooking oils. It is high in CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and is an excellent source of niacin, vitamins B6, B12, K2, selenium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and riboflavin(1). The saturated fats found in grassfed tallow are very important for bone development and brain function and help lower bad cholesterol (HDL). Once rendered, tallow is very shelf stable and because it has a high smoking point it is great for deep frying those family favorites(2).
This is raw fat, it has not been rendered.
All of our beef cuts are dry aged the old fashioned way for 18 to 21 days for added flavour and tenderness. This is very different from virtually all conventional beef found in big box stores or restaurants that has been wet aged in a plastic bag.
We believe in giving you the best value so all of our cuts are well trimmed and our roasts are tied. Our products are vacuum packaged to add freezer life and for convenience — simply thaw in cool water before cooking.
